Savages’ Jehnny Beth has her own Beats 1 show

Savages’ Jehnny Beth has been added to the never-ending list of musicians with their own Beats 1 show. ‘Start Making Sense’ debuts tonight on the Apple Music station at 10pm EST. A weekly stint, Beth’s residency spans three months.The first ‘Start Making Sense’ show finds Beth discussing her friendship with PJ Harvey and the latter’s impact on her own music. Polly Harvey attended a Savages show a couple of years ago. “I was petrified when I saw her walk through the crowd, but we became friends.”Below, hear Beth talking to Zane Lowe about her new show.
