Jehnny Beth of Savages talks punk with LCD Soundsystem’s Nancy Whang on Beats 1 show
Beth has a new show on the station, ‘Start Making Sense’.

Jehnny Beth of Savages is the latest star to get her own fancy show on Beats 1 radio. It’s called ‘Start Making Sense’, and on yesterday’s (26th April) episode, Beth chatted with Nancy Whang of the recently reformed LCD Soundsystem.
The pair chatted about Whang’s beginnings in punk, James Murphy, and her work with The Juan MacLean.
Both bands are on tour for the whole summer, linking up at the likes of Glastonbury and Open’er. C’mon, collaborations please.
Listen to snippets of the pair’s chat below, and revisit the DIY cover feature with Savages here.
