SBTRKT airs animated video for ‘New Dorp. New York’

See that puma-like gigantic dog on the sleeve of SBTRKT’s new album ‘Wonder Where We Land?’ That thing can move.

In a new video for ‘NEW DORP. NEW YORK’ - the record’s lead single, featuring Ezra Koenig - this creature crawls the night, hopping from concrete buildings to city billboards to old shipyards, just like that. Things turn pretty menacing, with this dog gaining one hell of an appetite - maybe it’s just hungry for the new SBTRKT record to come out.

Previously, we’ve heard this track, ‘Temporary View’, ‘Higher’ (feat. Raury)’, ‘Look Away (feat. Chairlift’s Caroline Polachek)’ and ‘The Light (feat. Denai Moore)’.

‘Wonder Where We Land’ is out 29th September on Young Turks. DIY’s review says the record “isn’t afraid to transition from the macabre piano-jaunt of Jessie Ware’s guest spot on ‘Problem Solved’, straight into Sampha ballad-special ‘If It Happens’. It’s a far braver album than his debut.”
