See Justin Vernon join The Staves on stage at London show
Collaborator joined the sister trio at Hackney Empire.
Last night (12th February), Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon joined The Staves on stage during their show at London’s Hackney Empire.
Vernon had a role in producing the Aussie sister trio’s second album ‘If I Was’, which comes out 23rd March on Atlantic.
The Staves’ Jessica Staveley-Taylor introduced Vernon on stage - as NME reports - saying: “It just so happens that he’s in town tonight, we didn’t know he was going to be, so we asked if he’d come up on stage with us” after detailing their collaborative process.
Together, they performed ‘Make It Holy’, with Vernon delivering the second verse.
Footage of the performance has emerged online - watch below.
