Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory release new single 'Southern Life (What It Must Be Like)'

Having recently announced plans for a new creative offshoot, Sharon Van Etten - now operating alongside her band under the moniker Sharon Van Etten and The Attachment Theory - have shared a new track, ‘Southern Life (What It Must Be Like)’.

Described by Van Etten as a song “trying to understand people with very different perspectives and backgrounds, while also trying to become passionate towards our past, present, and future selves,” this latest cut arrives hot on the heels of ‘Afterlife’, our first preview of the outfit’s forthcoming self-titled debut album (due out on 7th February via Jagjaguwar).

You can watch the Ethan Dawes-directed video for ‘Southern Life (What It Must Be Like)’ and find out the details of Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory’s just-announced North American tour below.
