Sia details how she’s been working with FKA twigs and Adele
New track ‘Alive’ was originally written for Adele’s upcoming album.
Yesterday (24th September), Sia revealed that she’s been making an album out of songs rejected by big names.
She led the project with ‘Alive’, a track co-written with Adele and Tobias Jesso Jr. She told Zane Lowe on Beats 1 yesterday: “I thought this one was such a smash, but Adele just wasn’t feeling it.”
In the same interview, Sia revealed how she’d been working on new material with Beyoncé, and that a new song appears on the Adele album. She also detailed a collaboration with FKA twigs. Describing her as a “really interesting artist,” she told Zane: “[Twigs] needs to take over the world. There is something very unique and amazing about her.”
‘Alive’ is out 6th November and new album ‘This Is Acting’ is due out in 2016 via RCA.
