Simple Things Festival announces first names for 2015

Bristol’s Simple Things Festival has announced its initial list of acts for the October bash.

Battles are the event’s first headliner, with Godspeed You! Black Emperor playing an opening party the night before the main event at the city’s Colston Hall. The bands will be joined by the likes of Speedy Ortiz, Factory Floor and Dean Blunt.

Simple Things will take place on Saturday October 24th, with Godspeed playing a standalone show on the Friday. 2014’s event was headlined by Mogwai and Death From Above 1979, and also included performances from SOPHIE, How To Dress Well and Caribou.Tickets for the 2015 edition are on sale now.
