slowthai announces new ‘Happyland’ festival

As a belated celebration of his latest album ‘TYRON’ and with live music officially coming back, slowthai has announced that he’ll be throwing a brand new one-day festival called ‘Happyland - The Happiest Place in the Universe’, where the policy is simple: “No Smile, No Entry”.

“Happyland with happy folk,” slowthai says. “The place where we can laugh and joke. The place you can be yourself without judgment, expectations and impressions of someone else. The space from the shackles of the everyday. The mountain where we climb to run away. Imagine what you’ve never had when you come to Happyland - you will never be sad.”

Taking place on 25th September at Northampton Cricket Ground, the festival will see performances from IDLES, beabadoobee, Shygirl, Pa Salieu, Easy Life and more.
