Slutface lift the lid on ‘Shave My Head’ video

Kicking and screaming their way to the top, there’s something tangible in the hype surrounding Slutface. It’s all wrapped up in new single ‘Shave My Head’, which premiered on DIY last month ahead of a raucous DIY Presents show at the Old Blue Last. Fizzing with energy and razor-edged melody, it’s now got an accompanying music video to try and capture their madness.

Choppy footage of backstage antics is sewn onto slow-motion, sweat-drenched live footage - it’s the perfect window into their live mania. It’s fitting, really - as singer Haley Shea explains, the track’s about “Why women are portrayed negatively as hysterical and emotional, whereas crazy men are portrayed as tortured geniuses. ‘Bitches be crazy’ and such.” Watch it below.
