Spoon have announced extensive tour plans for 2017
They’re playing around America and Germany this year, having already revealed UK dates.
With less than a month to go before the release of their new
album ‘Hot Thoughts’, American rockers Spoon have announced some very extensive
tour plans for 2017.
From the beginning of March they’ll be heading off around
the United States, taking in a SXSW Residency, and dates at Tampa and Knoxville
amongst others. Then they’re off to Germany for a few days, and will return to
the States for the second leg of that tour in July and August. There, they’re
set to make trips to Hollywood, New York, Louisville, Aspen and more.
The band announced the dates in a tweet, saying: “If you
look closely, America and Germany now have a lot of things in common.” Ooh,
what could they mean, eh?
In-between times, they’d already planned a few UK tour dates, and they’re set to play at Mad Cool Festival in Madrid and NOS Alive in
Portugal. All in all, they’ll be pretty much constantly on the road for about
five months. That’s a massive heaped tablespoon of gigs right there (sorry –
Ed).
You can see all of Spoon’s upcoming tour dates across the
world on their website.

Thoughts’ below.
