Spoon unveil ‘Rent I Pay’ video, new album art
Band’s eighth studio album ‘They Want My Soul’ is out this August.
Spoon’s return has been imminent for some time, but here it is in full-bloomed confirmation: A new song, ‘Rent I Pay’.
The track is the first to be taken from new record ‘They Want My Soul’. Out 4th August on ANTI-, it’s the band’s eighth full-length and first since 2010’s ‘Transference’. Pre-order on the band’s official site.
A new video (an unofficial video, apparently, but one filmed by the band themselves) is streaming below, casting footage of Britt Daniel alongside a very brief shot of the track’s lyrics. Check out the album art below, too.
Spoon have yet to confirm any new UK dates - they recently showcased their forthcoming record with an intimate show at London Oslo.
