Spoon’s Britt Daniel Announces Debut Split Single Album
Spoon frontman’s playing bass on Split Single’s ‘Fragmented World’ debut album.

As word gets round that Spoon must, surely, be releasing a new album in 2014, their frontman Britt Daniel’s decided to spoon up to another new project. Last year it was Divine Fits, this time round it’s Split Single, a band belonging to him and Bob Mould members Jason Narducy (bass) and Bob Mould drummer Jon Wurster (drums). Britt plays bass, and they’ve just announced their debut record ‘Fragmented World’.
The record’s self-released on 1st April, and it’s being previewed with a jazz-infused trailer below. Meanwhile on Planet Spoon, they’ve been in the studio a fair bit, with various potential song titles being hinted at.
