Squid are back with brand new banger ‘The Cleaner’

Woohoo! Our favourite post-punk, disco-funk five-piece Squid are back with brand new banger ‘The Cleaner’. “The Cleaner is a lost acquaintance, one that we’ve spent the last year trying to get to know… tirelessly working and turning up whenever needed,” the group say. “We work for the money to spend our time doing other things. The Cleaner imagines the divided work and play structure and thinks about breaking from it.”

And because they’re such nice lads, they’ve also just announced a forthcoming EP too! Out on 6th September via Dan Carey’s Speedy Wunderground label, ‘The Cleaner’ will be joined by tracks ‘Savage’, ‘Match Bet’ and ‘Rodeo’. Lovely that, init?
