Study shows that music fans burn up to 9,000 calories at festivals
Research suggests that you burn off shit burgers and warm pints more at Glastonbury than any other fest.
A newly published study looks into the average calorie burn as some of the country’s biggest festivals.
Tech company Withings has conducted research looking into the number of miles each person walks at the average festival, and the amount of calories they burn per day.
Ignoring the level of excess involved with most festivals - the crap burgers, warm pints, general sense of ‘overdoing it’ - the study shows that festival goers can burn up to 3,000 calories each day, over 9,000 across an entire weekend.
The endless scale of Glastonbury makes it the most calorie burning-friendly fest, while Reading & Leeds and V Festival also rack up the numbers.
