Birmingham’s Superfood have announced the details for their debut album, ‘Don’t Say That’.

The Dom Ganderton-led four-piece’s first work is due out 3rd November via Infectious Music, with production coming from Al O’Connell.

Alongside the album announcement, Superfood have also shared a new track, plus news of a forthcoming tour with Scottish triumphs Honeyblood.

‘Lily For Your Pad To Rest On’ - the album’s opening track - is streaming now, showcasing a broken beats, Beck-inspired direction. It sits alongside previously unveiled singles ‘TV’, ‘Melting’, ‘Right On Satellite’ and ‘Superfood’ - see the full tracklist below.

“We didn’t have a drummer when we first got together,” Ganderton told DIY in a recent interview. “I had this sample pack of hip-hop drum loops and then we’d just put bass and guitar over it. All the demos are broken beats and stuff, and we’ve tried to re-create that, crushing it up and making it sound a little rough.” That explains this appetite-whetting opener, then.
