Superfood stream debut album ‘Don’t Say That’ in full

Birmingham oddballs are giving their first work an airing ahead of its November release.

Superfood stream debut album ‘Don’t Say That’ in full

Superfood’s debut album is ridiculous. In between lyrics about raisins, lemons and flowers talking to each other is a part-referential, 100% hook-obsessed mentality that threatens to make this Birmingham four-piece one of the biggest in the country.

Ahead of its 3rd November release on Infectious Music, Dom Ganderton and co. are streaming their first work in full.

Containing the band’s self-titled ‘Superfood’ debut, the insomnia-affected ‘TV’, plus singles ‘Melting’ and ‘Right On Satellite’, it’s a record that says “yes” to every out-there possibility. Opener ‘Lily For Your Pad to Rest On’ is all broken beats and old-school hip-hop. Following that, in steps ‘You Can Believe’, an incessantly catchy ode to escape.

Earlier this year we made a special Superfood ‘zine for an ultimate guide to the band - catch up with that here.
