Swim Deep have announced details of their second album. ‘Mothers’ will be released on September 18th via Chess Club/RCA.
The follow-up to their 2013 debut ‘Where The Heaven Are We’ will be a “marked departure,” say the band in a press release. Swim Deep recorded ‘Mothers’ towards the end of last year in Brussels and London. The album is produced by London’s Dreamtrak. Swim Deep expanded to a five-piece for their second album, adding multi-instrumentalist James Balmont to their ranks.
Swim Deep have already shared two singles which appear on ‘Mothers’; ‘One Great Song And I Could Change The World’ and ‘To My Brother’. Speaking about the new record Austin Williams said “we’ve made a record, we’ve worked hard and we’re dead proud of it. We’ve called it ‘Mothers’ as a nod to the true creators of the universe and we couldn’t be more enthusiastic about this next chapter.”
The tracklist for ‘Mothers’ is as follows:
01 - One Great Song And I Could Change The World
02 - To My Brother
03 - Green Conduit
04 - Heavenly Moment
05 - Namaste
06 - Is There Anybody Out There
07 - Forever Spaceman
08 - Grand Affection
09 - Imagination
10 - Laniakea
11 - Fuelho Boogie
