Swim Deep share new single’s b-side, ‘Hotel California’
Dreamy stretch of synth pop matches up with ‘To My Brother’.
Swim Deep are streaming ‘Hotel California’, the b-side to their latest single ‘To My Brother’.
Anything but a cover of Eagles’ classic, it’s a strung out, warm synth pop track running counter to the a-side bonkers krautrock-nodding blast. A coo-ing, luscious glimpse of how album number two might sound, it also gives nods to the group’s debut ‘Where the Heaven Are We’.
Listen to ‘Hotel California’ below. Catch up with DIY’s recent interview with frontman Austin Williams here.
Swim Deep will play Live at Leeds (1st-4th May) and The Great Escape (14th-16th May), where DIY is an official media partner. Tickets are on sale now. Visit diymag.com/presents for more information.
