Swim Deep tap into nature with ‘To My Brother’ video
Birmingham band hang out with parakeets and tropical plants.
We’d like some of what Swim Deep have been having. First of all, they redefine their sound altogether with bonkers space oddity ‘To My Brother’. Then Austin Williams is promising a “summer of love” when discussing the new album with DIY. And now the Birmingham group have been given the keys to another planet, apparently, in their surreal video for ‘To My Brother’.
The new clip sees Austin hanging out with parakeets, nestling next to tropical plants and slowly watching a disfigured, melting torso give into glazed surroundings and neon lights. Swim Deep have gone sci-fi, basically.
