Swim Deep’s Debut Album Enters UK Top 20
Miley Cyrus’ new ‘BANGER’ meanwhile gets the number 1 single spot.
Birmingham sweethearts Swim Deep have landed a top 20 position with their debut album ‘Where The Heaven Are We’.
The group were in the top 10 during the midweeks and they’ve held on to a high placing (#20) with their first work. The highest new entry came in the form of The Civil Wars’ self-titled debut, which entered at #2, just below chart-toppers Richard and Adam, BGT finalists who retain their place at #1.
In singles, Miley Cyrus’ twerk-rejoicing ‘We Can’t Stop’ has debuted at #1. The single previews Cyrus’ dubiously (hilariously) titled new album ‘BANGERZ’.
Meanwhile Icona Pop stayed in the top 10 with ‘I Love It’, while newcomer Le Youth climbed 14 places with ‘C O O L’, which places at #35.
Kings of Leon’s new ‘Wait For Me’ track went straight in at #31.
