Swimming Tapes unveil new track ‘What’s On Your Mind’

Late last month, Swimming Tapes announced that they’d be releasing a brand new EP, ‘Soft Sea Blue’, on 15th September via Hand In Hive/ B3SCI.

Coming off the back of ‘Queen’s Parade’, ‘What’s On Your Mind’ is the latest taster of what to expect from the collection, and it just about sums up everything that characterises the band. Soft, jangly guitars that drift into the distance on a sea of light fuzz with a breezy, laid-back melody and some contemplative vocals. It’ll be on your mind for a while, that’s for sure.

The band are also set to play a show in London just after the release of the new EP. They’ll be playing at the Lexington on 20th September, and is probably the perfect opportunity to hear the ‘Soft Sea Blue’ tracks live. Tickets for the show are on sale now.
