TALA and Atiye team up for ‘As I Am (Oldugum Gibi)’

For London producer TÃLÃ, 2015 has been about going out of her comfort zone. And when this consists of travelling the world, that’s not too shabby a challenge.

For her latest EP ‘MALIKA’ (out via Columbia), TÃLÃ jet-setted on a trip to discover like-minded talents. She combined with the LA-based BANKS on ‘Wolfpack’, keeping things closer to home with London duo Sylas on ‘Praise’.

On ‘As I Am (Oldugum Gibi)’, she collaborates with Atiye, a star in Turkey whose disorienting vocals only enhance the magic at work in TÃLÃ’s production. “Who is it you’re defending / lay down your arms,” runs a chant, and it’s clear these two are out on the attack from the off.

It’s further evidence that TÃLÃ’s creating dizzying works while sticking to her trademark. The new track is premiering on DIY, below. Stream or watch the fancy new visualiser it arrives alongside.
