Tame Impala, Wolf Alice and Yannis from Foals star in Triple J’s Hottest 100 ad

Tame Impala, Wolf Alice, Courtney Barnett and Yannis from Foals all make exceptional cameos in a ridiculous promo for Triple J’s ‘Hottest 100’.

The Australian radio station is making a yearly tradition of getting big names to act out ridiculous scenes. Last year, Gus from Alt-J spoke about “interesting guitar patterns” when station hosts tried to make a radio jingle. That’s all you need to know.

This time, things are more high budget. It starts with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker being kidnapped, and it’s the hosts’ job to get to the bottom of a musician-kidnapping conspiracy.

Diplo pumps weights, C-Barnz drives a camero and Wolf Alice run towards MS MR for no apparent reason. Best of all is Yannis from Foals who, out of the blue, asks: “What went down?”

Find out what went down below.
