See Lorde, Disclosure, Alt-J and more fail at writing jingles
Triple J skit features famous names from all over the shop.
A new Triple J sketch featuring a ridiculous number of famous faces has been unveiled online.
Based around the question, ‘How do you write a song?’, hosts from the Aussie radio station ask the likes of Lorde, Courtney Barnett and Alt-J to come up with a world-beating tune - there begins one great big, chaotic discussion.
Highlights arrive in the form of:
- Flume’s line - “And laptops!” (1:22)
- Gus from Alt-J saying, “we could start it off with some really intricate, fingerpicked guitar” (1:36) before getting in an argument with Flight Facilities.
- Skrillex wondering when to “drop the bass” (1:55)
- Disclosure’s complete non-cameo (3:45)
- Flume being amazing again, saying “I could always remix it” (4:30)
- Rick Astley stealing the show (4:43)
