Temples, SBTRKT, Darkside To Play Bestival 2014
Host of acts have been added to the Isle of Wight Fest’s The Big Top stage.
Isle of Wight fest Bestival has confirmed new names for its 2014 bill. Additions to The Big Top stage include psych giants Temples, producers Bonobo and SBTRKT and Nico Jaar/Dave Harrington aka Darkside.
New additions join the likes of Chvrches, Outkast, Foals and Chic & Nile Rodgers.
Cate Le Bon, Dan Le Sac VS Scroobius Pip, DJ Yoda, Nick Mulvey, Denai Moore, Public Service Broadcasting, Radiophonic Workshop and Ady Suleiman have also been confirmed.
Organiser Rob da Bank professed his love for The Big Top stage by saying: ‘I probably spend more time in The Big Top at Bestival than in any other space. The Main Stage has lots of huge and excellent acts on, but The Big Top is the intimate beating heart of Bestival and getting sweaty with 10,000 other Bestivalites to the most cutting edge indie, electronic and folk acts is always fun.’
The festival runs from 4th-7th September 2014. Tickets are available on bestival.net. This year’s fancy dress theme is ‘Desert Island Disco’.
