The Black Keys pull out of Woodstock’s 50th anniversary event

The duo will no longer be appearing at the New York event this August.

The Black Keys have been forced to cancel their upcoming appearance at Woodstock’s 50th anniversary event.

Due to take place this August, Woodstock 50 confirmed its line-up last month, with the likes of The Killers, The Raconteurs and Chance The Rapper all set to appear, alongside The Black Keys. Sadly, however, the ‘Lo/Hi’ pair have now pulled out of their set due to “a scheduling conflict”.

A statement from the band’s Twitter reads: “Due to a scheduling conflict, The Black Keys will unfortunately need to cancel their set at Woodstock. The band wants to let fans know as soon as possible and before tickets go on sale.”

Woodstock 50 is set to take place on the weekend of 16th to 18th August in Watkins Glen, New York. Tickets for the festival are apparently set to go on sale on 22nd April.
