The Chemical Brothers release new track ‘No Reason’
It’s their first new music since 2021.
Ahead of their headline performance at this year’s Coachella, The Chemical Brothers have released brand new track ‘No Reason’.
The group’s first new music since the release of their 2021 single ‘The Darkness That You Fear’, the group are currently working on the follow-up to their 2019 album ‘No Geography’.
In our review of ‘No Geography’, we said, “There’s always a tendency, with bands that possess back catalogues as stacked as The Chemical Brothers, to exist on festival headline slots and half-baked new material every couple of years. And who could blame them? Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons could be seen as guilty of that themselves over the last decade, but on ‘No Geography’ they punch their way back into the present day with a revelation of a record.”
Revisit the full review here, and check out the accompanying video for ‘No Reason’ directed by longtime collaborators Smith and Lyall and choreographed and performed by Gecko Theatre below.
