The Chemical Brothers top UK album chart with ‘Born in the Echoes’

The Chemical Brothers have entered the UK album chart at #1 with eighth album, ‘Born in the Echoes’.

The album features guest appearances from St. Vincent, Beck, Cate Le Bon and others, and features singles ‘Go’ and ‘Under Neon Lights’.

Years & Years’ ‘Communion’ holds on at #2, with the remainder of the Top 5 made up by Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and James Bay.

Sleaford Mods’ ‘Key Markets’ has entered at #11.

In the singles chart, Little Mix’s ‘Black Magic’ remains #1, Years & Years’ ‘Shine’ is at #2, Foxes’ ‘Body Talk’ enters at #25 and Disclosure and Sam Smith’s ‘Omen’ is at #29.

Today saw the release of both The Maccabees’ ‘Marks to Prove It’ and Lianne La Havas’ ‘Blood’ in albums, and that surprise single from One Direction.
