The Cribs have announced their new album ’24-7 Rock Star Shit’
Out on 11th August, the band have also released new single ‘Rainbow Ridge’.
After spray-painting the phrase ’24-7 Rock Star Shit’ across random pavements in London last week, The Cribs have now announced their new album of the same name!
Out on 11th August, ’24-7 Rock Star Shit’ was recorded to tape in just 5 days, with legendary producer Steve Albini (Nirvana, Shellac, Pixies. The Cribs’ new album started out from offcuts from the sessions around their fifth album ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull,’ which came out in 2012. Originally the band intended to release them on an EP, but once things got going, The Cribs they found themselves with their seventh album! “That approach just really suits us, we were just having too much fun I guess,” they said in a press release.
