The Cribs announce new album, stream lead track ‘An Ivory Hand’

Blue Monday? Not likely - the Jarmans are kicking the start-of-the-week melancholy away with details of new full-length ‘For All My Sisters’.

Sound the alarms, call your friends: The Cribs have announced details of their new album.

Titled ‘For All My Sisters’, the band’s sixth studio full-length will be released on 23rd March, with a new song ‘An Ivory Hand’ streaming online now.

It follows the band’s 2013 career-so-far retrospective ‘Payola’ and 2012’s ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull’, and marks their first for new label Sonic Blew / Sony Red.

‘For All My Sisters’ was recorded with legendary The Cars frontman and Weezer producer Ric Ocasek and is described in a press release from the band as marking “the start of the next chapter”.

The album will be released with a special deluxe edition featuring live footage from the band’s two Christmas 2013 shows at Leeds’ old Town & Country Club. First single proper, ‘Burning For No One’, is set for release as a special limited 7” on the same day as ‘For All My Sisters’, 23rd March.
