The Cribs have started to let us in on a few details about their forthcoming album, and it’s emerged that the band have been working with Steve Albini.
Also being produced by Dave Fridmann, the album currently has the working title of ‘In The Belly Of The Brazen Bull’ and is tentatively due for release in April.
This will be the band’s first album since 2009’s ‘Ignore The Ignorant’, as their first as a three-piece since ‘Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever’ was released in 2007. This follows the departure of fourth member, and ex-Smiths legend Johnny Marr.
The Cribs are also set to play a short run of UK dates at the end of February/ start of March.
