The Cribs unveil new single ‘Burning For No One’
Listen to the first single taken from ‘For All My Sisters’.
After announcing their new album ‘For All My Sisters’, The Cribs are streaming a storming lead single.
‘Burning For No One’ just gained its first play on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show as a Hottest Record. You can listen below. The new song links up with ‘An Ivory Hand’ from last month.
Gary Jarman leads the new track on vocals, this being a prime example of the step-up signalled in The Cribs’ sixth album.
Speaking to DIY about the new album, Gary Jarman said: “Anyone who’s familiar with what we do will find it familiar. We’ve explored a lot of the things that we’ve done before. The influences pretty much remain the same, except I think that it is just a more fully realised version of what we intended to do.”
‘Burning For No One’ is out 23rd March. This month, The Cribs head out on a run of UK shows, including an appearance at BBC 6 Music Festival, Tyneside.
