The Decemberists announce North American dates

The Decemberists have announced a series of North American dates in support of their new album, ‘What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World’.

The jaunt, which takes in 16 dates, starts in March with a show in the band’s hometown of Portland, Oregon. The band’s seventh album, ‘What A Terrible World, What A Beautiful World’ is set for release on January 19th, with first single ‘Make You Better’ due to get a special limited 7” release for Record Store Day’s Black Friday event on November 28th. The Decemberists will play a run of UK dates in February 2015, with shows in Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Brighton and London.
