The Decemberists confirm new album by performing in a Brooklyn street
‘What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World’ is out early 2015.
Early this morning on a corner in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the Decemberists quietly went about confirming their new record by playing some songs.
Colin Meloy took to an impromptu performance earlier today (24th October) in front of a backdrop showing artwork for the new album, ‘What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World’.
The follow-up to 2011’s ‘The King is Dead’ is due out in early 2015.
One of the new songs, ‘Make You Better’, was performed by Meloy alongside old favourite ‘The Engine Driver’.
