The Men Announce Release Of New Album, ‘New Moon’

The Brooklyn band’s latest will be out this March, with lead single ‘Electric’ available to listen to now.

Noisy Brooklyn types The Men have announced they are to follow last year’s ‘Open Your Heart’ (which reached Number 37 on our own Albums of 2012 list, no less) with a brand new record this spring.

‘New Moon’, their fourth album in as many years, will be released on 4th March here in the UK via Sacred Bones. The album was recorded in upstate New York, the band having made a ‘full-fledged stray dog studio home’ in which to record at the remote location of Big Indian, NY. It also sees producer Ben Greenberg an official member, taking on bass-playing duties.

The first single to be taken from the record will be ‘Electric’, due for release on 7-inch vinyl on 22nd January.

In addition, the band have revealed they’ll be returning to the UK following the album’s release, with a live headline date scheduled at The Garage in London for 19th March.

‘Electric’ is available to listen to right now, as you see below.
