Group are readying the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Port of Morrow’.

The Shins are continuing to tease new material on their Instagram page, in the build-up to a new album.
James Mercer and co. have been in the studio working on the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Port of Morrow’.
Back in February, they shared studio footage alongside a short teaser of new material. They’ve done the same with a new clip, captioned ‘King Puffin’ and coupled with the shot of moving clouds.
Mercer himself has been busy, working on Broken Bells album ‘After the Disco’, his second full-length collaboration with Danger Mouse.
