The Smiths announce new 7” featuring unreleased material
New versions of ‘The Boy With The Thorn In His Side’ and ‘Rubber Ring’ will feature.
Those reunion rumours might be put on the back burner for a bit, but The Smiths’ train keeps a-rollin’ - they’re reportedly set to release a new 7” single.
The record will feature previously unheard versions of ‘The Boy With The Thorn In His Side’ and ‘Rubber Ring’ according to Morrissey fan site True To You. A release date hasn’t been shared, but you can check out the Morrissey-designed artwork for the release below.
Last month, it was revealed that The Smiths very nearly got back together in 2008. Go on lads, do us all a favour.
