The Wombats announce huge Alexandra Palace show
The band’s new album ‘Glitterbug’ debuted at Number 5 in this week’s charts.
Fresh from scoring a Top 5 album in this week’s Official UK Chart with their new record ‘Glitterbug’, The Wombats have announced plans for a massive show at London’s Alexandra Palace.
Last week, the band’s sold out tour drew to a close in Newcastle and now, they’re looking ahead to October, when they’ll play the one-off massive show.
The show is set to follow on from their summer of festival appearances, which include slots at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals, and a headline show at Liverpool’s Echo Arena. The London show will take place on 1st October; it’ll double as their largest London headline show so far, with tickets going on sale this Friday (24th March) at 9am.
