The XX Announce US Tour Dates
Band are promising to strip things down” even further in towns they’ve never played before.”

Young Turks signings The xx have announced plans to tour the US alongside an already planned residency of New York, which involves 25 shows over ten days (two shows per date every weeknight and three shows per night on weekends). During that time, they’ll be experimenting a fair bit, trying out new takes on original songs, alongside ‘stripped down production’ (if that’s even possible when you’re talking about The xx).
Presuming they’re not exhausted after the New York residency, they’ll take to six further dates across the States.
‘We decided to play some shows in towns we’ve never played before,’ reads a lovely handwritten note from the band.
