Tigercub release new track ‘Swoon’

Tigercub have shared a new track, ‘Swoon’. It’s the second single to be released from their upcoming album ‘The Perfume of Decay’, following from February’s ‘Play My Favourite Song’. “”Home where I wanted to be.” When I first moved away from Sunderland to live in Brighton, I thought I would never look back,” says frontman Jamie Hall. “However, as the years have passed, I’ve grown more and more homesick and have realised my deep yearning to reconnect with my roots in the north of England. “Swoon” is about uncovering those feelings and addressing them. The track is brooding, dynamic and explosive, a taster of things to come from ‘The Perfume of Decay.” The band have also previously shared that ‘Perfume’ “is a diary of my emotional journey from dusk to dawn, an anxiety-fueled voyage through the storm. Lyrically, at points, it is almost a stream of consciousness. I sat up late and wrote the words down as they flashed before my eyes.” Tigercub are currently touring through the US, and will soon come to the UK.
