Tim Cook says Apple Music has “millions and millions” of subscribers

Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that “millions and millions” of people have subscribed to Apple Music since last month’s launch.

While Cook was reluctant to disclosure the exact amount of subscribers, he has stated that the service is “growing substantially every day,” since arriving on 30th June.

Cook’s new report at Apple’s quarterly earnings call this week also states that “over 15,000 artists have signed up to Connect” and “millions of listeners are listening to Beats 1,” the service’s dedicated internet radio station. During the call, Cook stated that he is “thrilled with the response” since the service was introduced to over 100 countries worldwide.
