Tyler, the Creator wanted to get Jamiroquai on his album, shares alternative ‘Cherry Bomb’ art

Rapper also wanted Beth Gibbons from Portishead to feature.

Tyler, the Creator has taken to Twitter to share his post-release thoughts on new album ‘Cherry Bomb’, which came out yesterday just a week after being announced.

The rapper claimed that he wanted to get 3 more features on the record - Beth Gibbons from Portishead on ‘Buffalo’, Stevie Wonder on ‘Find Your Wings’ and (amazingly), Jaykay from Jamiroquai on ‘2seatr’.

He also said he wanted Badbadnotgood to perform covers of album tracks, and he called Thundercat a “motherfucker” for not appearing on ‘Find Your Wings’.

Collaborations that did happen include guest spots from Kanye West and Chaz Bundick aka Toro Y Moi.

Tyler then shared a series of alternative album covers for ‘Cherry Bomb’ - check those out below.

‘Cherry Bomb’ is out now and streaming in full.
