underscores confirms details of new album ‘U’
She’s also dropped a POV-style video for her earworm latest single, ‘Tell Me (U Want It)’.

underscores is back, having recently revealed that her third album - the semi-self-titled ‘U’ - will be arriving on 20th March via Mom+Pop.
The follow-up to the California native’s 2023 outing ‘Wallsocket’, ‘U’ is set to feature two previously released singles (‘Music’ and ‘Do It’) as well as its latest preview, ‘Tell Me (U Want It)’ - a bouncingly confident, everything-and-the-kitchen-sink slice of experimental pop.
Described by underscores herself as “music for my iPhone spy movie,” the track has landed accompanied by a video that acts as that very movie; shot between New York, Chicago, and San Francisco, it follows her movements as she’s chased across the country with a mysterious foe in hot pursuit.
