Underwater Boys return with new track ‘Apricot’

The Hello 2018 alumni return with their first new material of the year.

After starting off their year with a show as part of our Hello 2018 series at London’s Old Blue Last, Brighton’s Underwater Boys have revealed their first new material of the year in the form of ‘Apricot’, out now via Cannibal Hymns.

“Apricot is a song about the fear of being bad for the person you love.” explains lead singer Tom Klar in a press release. “It’s about seeing your partner struggle, and feeling helpless to ease their pain because of your own struggles - perhaps they’d be better off without you, but you love them too much to let go.”

View the band’s upcoming tour dates, including a London show at MOTH Club with Our Girl, and listen to ‘Apricot’, below.
