Wardell unveil ‘Dancing on the Freeway’ from their debut album

LA duo Wardell are showing the first signs of releasing their long-awaited debut album. It’s been a couple of years, and in that time Sasha and Theo Spielberg have shared just one EP, ‘Brother/Sister’.

‘Dancing on the Freeway’ is their third, a track that circuits ‘Rumors’-era Fleetwood while getting by on muted guitar musings and uplifting major keys. It’s been unveiled alongside the note: “From the forthcoming 2014 full-length album by Wardell,” and it’s being given away as a free download.

The track follows on from ‘Call It What You Want’, a song released almost this time last year. Then there’s ‘Opossum’, the sweet song (now three years old) that kickstarted it all.
