Watch Albert Hammond Jr. play ‘Set To Attack’ on Corden

His new album ‘Francis Trouble’ is out tomorrow.

Tomorrow (9th March), Albert Hammond Jr. is set to release his new album ‘Francis Trouble’ and he recently dropped new track ‘Set To Attack’.

It was that track that he recently took to ‘The Late Show With James Corden’, putting in a performance where he swung around the stage as his band played around him, occasionally bursting into intensity right as the song does.

We also spoke to Albert for this month’s issue of DIY, talking about the unusual story behind the record - an album inspired by his stillborn twin. “I was hoping that when people saw it they wouldn’t think of The Strokes or my past solo records, they would just see it as a new thing,” he says of ‘Francis Trouble’. ”I didn’t wanna become a band name – I’m already in one that seems like it’s defined something, so I needed to throw the weight on me and funnily enough I became more me by not being me.”
