Brockhampton unleash highly-anticipated ‘SUGAR’ video
With sex, aliens, murder, and a hell of a lot more, it’s definitely been worth the wait.
After teasing the release of ‘SUGAR’ visuals for a while now, the “best boyband since One Direction” (BROCKHAMPTON, obvs) have delivered the goods and, hooooly shit, has it been worth that wait.
Featuring Ryan Beatty, the sleek R&B-esque number - which has been affectionately referred to as the love child of ‘Saturation III’ cut ‘BLEACH’ and ‘1999 Wildfire’ - is taken from their recently released record ‘GINGER’ and has become a huge fan favourite.
Now sharing the visuals, the sharp AF new vid channels nostalgic sci-fi flicks, with the additions of sex, aliens, murder, Matt Champion hanging out with the devil, Kevin Abstract stuck to the ceiling with some kind of green slime, and Bearface’s closing “Do you love me?” lines delivered at the end to close it out with all the #feels.
What more could you want from a music vid, eh?
A huge step-up in production from their previous visual releases and directed by Kevin himself, the hip-hop collective have once again shown their continuous artistic rise and we can’t get enough.
