Watch: Broken Bells Air New Song ‘The Changing Lights’

Appearing for a session on La Blogothèque, Danger Mouse and James Mercer aka Broken Bells decided the best location to unveil ‘The Changing Lights’ would be a sweet Parisian piano shop.

Filmed for the Take Away series, this is the first time they’ve been seen to perform the song - taken from the excellent new album ‘After The Disco’. It begins with a gruff voiced Danger Mouse leading the performance, with lyrics taped to the piano for a prompt. ‘The first go is the best,’ says Brian Burton before the whole thing kicks into gear.
