Melbourne songwriter sports her best tennis jumper, ahead of UK & EU dates.
24 y/o off-kilter newcomer Courtney Barnett has announced plans to head to the UK & Europe following some eagerly-awaited shows at CMJ.
She’s releasing her double EP ‘A Sea Of Salt Peas’ on 15th October via House Anxiety / Marathon Artists. Based out in Melbourne, her sound - for those new to her - is one of strung-out guitars and dry-witted expressions, veering on the brink of sarcasm and all-round nonchalance.
Her video for ‘Avant Gardener’ pits Courtney in a tennis doubles match. She’s not quite Lleyton Hewitt.
