Watch Courtney Barnett bring ‘Depreston’ to Ellen
Aussie suburbia tale hits the States - watch it now.
Courtney Barnett on the telly? Bonzer! Last night she made a high-profile appearance on Ellen, showcasing ‘Depreston’ from her debut album.
‘Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit’ is out 23rd March, featuring the lead single ‘Pedestrian at Best’. The whole thing’s streaming in full ahead of release.
This was the Melbourne songwriter’s biggest TV appearance to date, host Ellen DeGeneres introducing her by saying: “Our next guest is one of my favourite new artists - I love her so much.”
Once again, the performance was anything but pedestrian.

We’re giving tickets away to the intimate London launch show at Red Gallery, 23rd March. You’ve two days left to enter.
